What Once Was is an imaginary portrayal of friendship and masculinity. The series is a vivid portrait of young adults in several European countries, carefully stylized, but still very close to my sense of friendship. The book includes poems and essays by Dutch writer Roelof ten Napel.
The art edition is numbered 1 to 50, and includes a numbered and signed book, and a limited 20 x 25cm fine art print of “Sil in Malaga”. (1-26 are sold).
